One of the most common and difficult problems reported by students with chronic health conditions is the missed time in the classroom. Student with CHC describe feeling of isolation from their peers as well as anxiety over missed content and time away from their instructors.
Recently new technology in the form of desktop video conferencing is making it possible for students to stay connected to their classrooms, their classmates, and their content. The LTLF is happy to work with families and schools to show how easy it is to set up and utilize this type of system. The benefits cannot be counted in bits and bytes.
